A battery-powered IP66 wireless soil moisture, temperature, and EC sensor, range from 0 ~ 100% (m³/m³), -40 ~ 80℃, and 0 to 23 dS/m, equipped with built-in Bluetooth and APP service for OTA configuration and remote device management. Used in smart farming, smart yard, and environment monitoring solutions.

To ensure that the performance and durability of the sensors are consistent with their specifications throughout the complete lifecycle, SenseCAP S210X went through 6 reliability tests before releasing and met the requirements to perform perfectly in extreme conditions.

Hardware Overview
SenseCAP LoRaWAN S2105 Sensor measures moisture, temperature and EC at the range of 0 ~ 100% (m³/m³), -40 ~ 80℃, and 0 to 23 dS/m respectively. Soil electrical conductivity (EC) is a metric of the salt content in the soil which will affect crop yield and quality, plant nutrient availability, and the activity of soil microbes. S2105 can be widely applicable in soil sensing scenarios. It is specifically optimized for OTA with built-in Bluetooth, which enables quick setup and update. Benefiting from LoRa and IP66 design, this sensor features stability and reliability and can cover a long transmission range while keeping lower power consumption. Unlike wireline devices, it is battery-powered, reducing the workload and complexity of the deployment, and can be disassembled and installed in a few minutes.

SenseCAP S210X is compatible with LoRaWAN® V1.0.3 protocol and can work with Gateway - LoRaWAN Device - SenseCAP.
LoRaWAN Gateway
LoRaWAN® gateways can provide LoRaWAN® network coverage which is required when using such sensors. S210X can be connected to different LoRaWAN® gateways while what Seeed provides offers you a seamless user experience.
Helium Network: Sensors work in areas covered by Helium Network (Check on Helium Explorer). You can check the SenseCAP M1 LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway - US915 - Seeed Studio and SenseCAP M2 Light Hotspot and Software License - Seeed Studio.

The frequency plan setting is none by default and it will not transmit RF signal until it has been set by App via Bluetooth at the first power-up. And it can be changed to other frequency plans at any time.
