Temperature Sensor with PT1000

A battery-powered IP66 wireless PT1000 temperature sensor, range from -50~300°C, expandable 3 PT1000 channels, equipped with built-in Bluetooth and APP service for OTA configuration and remote device management. Used in liquid detection, food monitoring, storage cold chain, industrial boilers, aquaculture solutions.

    -40℃ ~ 85℃ operating temperature(LoRa DTU) and IP66-rated enclosure, the PT1000 probe can detect -50~300℃, suitable for outdoor use, high UV exposure, heavy rain, dusty conditions, etc.

    Compatible with different types of LoRaWAN® gateways to enable fast connection with LoRaWAN® networks (support the universal frequency plan from 863MHz ~928MHz).

Hardware Overview
SenseCAP LoRaWAN® S2107 temperature Sensor measures temperature at the range of -50°C~300°C. A highly accurate temperature sensor PT1000 that can support temperature detection in wide temperature ranges and industrial scenarios.
Pt1000 sensors (1000 ohm temperature sensors) are the most common type of platinum resistance thermometer. The S2107 supports a three-wire circuit for PT1000 sensors and allows for the connection of up to three sensors simultaneously.
Direct contact temperature is an important indicator in many scenarios, especially in liquid detection, food monitoring, storage cold chain, industrial boilers, and aquaculture solutions. The S2107 is specifically optimized for OTA with built-in Bluetooth, which enables quick setup and update. Benefiting from LoRa and IP66 design, this sensor features stability and reliability and can cover a long transmission range while keeping lower power consumption. Unlike wireline devices, it is battery-powered, reducing the workload and complexity of the deployment, and can be disassembled and installed in a few minutes.

It can cover a transmission range of 2km in urban scenes and 10km in line-of-sight scenes while keeping lower power consumption during the transmission process. Together with a replaceable battery that supports up to 10 years of usage and an industrial IP66 enclosure. It supports -40 ~ 85℃ operating temperature and can be deployed in harsh environments.

To ensure that the performance and durability of the sensors are consistent with their specifications throughout the complete lifecycle, SenseCAP S210X went through 6 reliability tests before releasing and met the requirements to perform perfectly in extreme conditions.

LoRaWAN Frequency
S210x Devices are manufactured to support the universal frequency plan from 863MHz ~928MHz in one SKU. That is to say, every single device can support the frequency plans below:

The frequency plan setting is none by default and it will not transmit RF signal until it has been set by App via Bluetooth at the first power-up. And it can be changed to other frequency plans at any time.

How to add 3 PT1000 sensors to S2107
The S2107 supports a three-wire circuit for PT1000 sensors and allows for the connection of up to three sensors simultaneously.
PT1000 Connection
SenseCAP S210X is compatible with LoRaWAN® V1.0.3 protocol and can work with Gateway - LoRaWAN Device - SenseCAP.
LoRaWAN Gateway
LoRaWAN® gateways can provide LoRaWAN® network coverage which is required when using such sensors. S210X can be connected to different LoRaWAN® gateways while what Seeed provides offers you a seamless user experience.
Helium Network: Sensors work in areas covered by Helium Network (Check on Helium Explorer). You can check the SenseCAP M1 LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway - US915 - Seeed Studio and SenseCAP M2 Light Hotspot and Software License - Seeed Studio.
LoRaWAN Network: Sensors work in LoRaWAN® networks, like The Things Network, Loriot, Chirpstack, etc. You can check the SenseCAP Gateway - LoRaWAN EU915 - Seeed Studio and the SenseCAP-Multi-Platform-LoRaWAN-Indoor-Gateway-SX1302-US915-p-5472 - Seeed Studio.
