Application
Silo and Tank Monitoring

Project background and needs

Lindcom in Denmark uses the SenseCAP S2100 data logger for new and existing silo, oil tank, and slurry tank monitoring sites, providing inventory levels, consumption history, and delivery forecasts through MultiSense.

  • Lindcom already had a remote monitoring system for silos, oil tanks, and slurry tanks.

Per-Unit Connectivity Cost

  • Previously each monitored unit required its own gateway.
  • These gateways were expensive.

Needed to lower the connectivity cost of tank monitoring units.

Installation Complexity

  • The original gateway was inconvenient to deploy by design.
  • Connecting each unit to the central monitoring system individually made installation complex.

Needed a data logging solution that is easy to install at both new and existing sites.

Solution and architecture

Monitoring Connectivity

Existing and new sites connect to the content monitoring system via the SenseCAP S2100 LoRaWAN data logger.

Business Application

MultiSense Oil provides oil tank content monitoring, consumption history, and next-delivery forecasts, with the data used for logistics planning and anomaly notifications.
