Project background and needs

Deng's family tea plantation in Mengding Mountain, Ya'an, Sichuan, covers 3.3 hectares at about 1100m elevation. The IoTea project deployed a SenseCAP sensor network there in 2018 to address planting and management issues.

SenseCAP LoRaWAN gateways and sensors monitor temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, light, CO2, and soil data.
