Project background and needs
The Open Manufacture test validated SenseCAP T1000 tracker reliability under extreme low and high temperatures, focusing on device performance across temperatures and operating states.
High/low temperature operation
- The product targets performance across low and high temperature conditions.
- Validation required observing both powered-off and actively transmitting devices.
Needs to run temperature tests across different operating states.
Variation and measurement
- The second phase ramped temperature up and down in steps.
- Testing also tracked internal temperature readings and changes in device appearance.
Needs to check function, temperature readings, and structural performance.
Solution and architecture
Constant-temperature test
Both device batches were held at low then high temperature while transmission status was monitored; startup and function were checked afterwards.
Temperature-ramp verification
The test ramped temperature up and down in steps while logging internal sensor readings; results were recorded in tables and charts.
