What This Reference Design Is

Say one sentence to the SenseCAP Watcher and the stock record is written.

An operator says "stock in 10 boxes of apples" and the warehouse system on the reComputer writes the receipt. Ask the stock level and it answers out loud.

The SenseCAP Watcher goes where the work happens: a receiving dock, a rack aisle, a forklift. Hands stay on the goods.

Adding a voice action means adding an interface to the warehouse system, not retraining a speech model.

Recognition, the language model and the warehouse system can each sit in the cloud or on site. Tier 3 runs it all on the facility network.

Usage Requirements

audio

Audio from the SenseCAP Watcher microphone — wake word detection and streaming run on its ESP32.

network

The Watcher joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only; the gateway must be on the same LAN. Every tier except tier 3 also needs internet reachability for the voice path.

ssh

SSH access to the gateway for the Docker deployment steps, or run the deployment on the gateway itself.

data

Existing stock, optional — imported from the provided Excel template on first run.

credentials

An LLM/TTS API key of your own for tiers 2A and 2B. Tiers 0/1 include voice with the Watcher; tier 3 calls no external service.
